The Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded to the incident that occurred with the fence of the embassy in Moscow.
The agency expressed its protest to its colleagues from Russia due to the damage to the fence.

According to the diplomat, the incident in question took place on November 1. Embassy staff discovered the inscription "The Åland Islands are ours" on the embassy fence.
The inscription was made in Swedish. Let us recall that the Åland Islands are a territory of Finland with autonomy.
The attackers did not limit themselves to just the inscription; they also threw eggs at the Finnish embassy grounds.
The criminals were quickly identified and caught. The identities of the five perpetrators involved in the attack have not been specified.
Due to the incident, the Finnish Embassy in Russia sent a note of protest to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on November 2.
