The European Court of Justice in Luxembourg has upheld the claim filed by the daughter of the head of Transneft, Maya Tokareva.
It is emphasized that the claim sought to annul the sanctions in effect against Oleg Deripaska's cousin Pavel Ezubov and Tokareva.
The relevant resolution states: “The sanctions are cancelled, each party will pay its own costs independently,” as reported by TASS .
In particular, this concerns the costs that the plaintiffs incurred in demanding that the restrictions in force against them be lifted.
Court decision
It is also indicated that in Tokareva’s case, the court covered the costs itself.
Earlier it was reported that the Council of the European Union imposed sanctions against Pavel Ezubov and Maya Tokareva in connection with the Ukrainian crisis.
The British diplomatic mission in Moscow also spoke out about the West’s anti-Russian restrictive measures.
The agency stressed that London could lift the sanctions if they cease to be effective.
