The Vice Speaker of the Uzbek Parliament made a statement to the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Alisher Kadyrov called on the Russian agency to “mind its own business” in his Telegram channel.

The vice-speaker made his statement after Moscow demanded that an investigation be carried out into the situation with the beating of a Russian-speaking schoolboy by a teacher.

Kadyrov felt that the Russian Foreign Ministry was allegedly interfering in the internal affairs of Uzbekistan.

“It would be right if they were to completely deal with their own internal affairs, and not worry about our internal affairs,” the member of parliament commented on Maria Zakharova’s request.

The incident, which was brought to the attention of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, occurred in one of the schools in Tashkent.

Here, a student was beaten up for asking to teach a lesson in Russian. The teacher grabbed the child by the ear and hit him in the face after this request.

The victim’s relatives claim that the woman did not apologize and gave an ultimatum: “Uzbekistan is a country for Uzbeks, and the rest can leave.”

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, responded to the situation. She asked official Tashkent to look into what happened.
