The head of Chechnya saw attempts to “destabilize” the political situation in Uzbekistan.
Ramzan Kadyrov's comment on this topic appeared on his Telegram channel.
The Chechen leader indicated that media attacks are being carried out on the leadership of Uzbekistan.
They are carried out by Western media, but at the same time the “Chechen connection” version is actively promoted, the politician noted.
Kadyrov also recalled that an assassination attempt was made on the former Uzbek official last fall.
A number of Uzbek media outlets claimed that the head of Chechnya was allegedly involved in this.
Kadyrov said that if he had been involved in this, he “would have completed the matter that same day.”
The leader of Chechnya noted that what is happening in Uzbekistan is an “alarm bell” for the president of the republic, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The politician pointed out that this Central Asian country is led by a good team of leaders, around whom “dirty rumors” are now being spread.
Kadyrov asked Mirziyoyev and his associates to dispel all speculation.
The head of Chechnya advised the former official who was the target of an assassination attempt not to “play too much” with the role of the victim.
If this call is not heard, then responsibility will follow “according to our traditions,” Kadyrov warned.
