Britain continues to tighten sanctions against Russia.
As part of the new restrictions, 56 individuals and legal entities were included in the list.
The UK sanctions, in particular, targeted the Afrika Korps organisation and the Espanyola armed group, made up of football fans, the UK Government press service reported .
The list also included Russian citizen Denis Sergeev, whom British authorities call a “GRU agent.”
Sergeev was suspected of involvement in the poisoning of former intelligence officer Sergei Skripal and his daughter in Salisbury in 2018 using the substance "Novichok".
Sanctions were also imposed against a number of organizations operating in China, Turkey and Central Asian countries.
London believes they are closely cooperating with Russia, supplying military goods and technologies.
