Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has claimed that a listening device was found in his private bathroom at the Foreign Office.
This happened after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu used the toilet.
Johnson claims the incident took place in 2017 when Netanyahu visited his department, The Telegraph writes.
After the Israeli prime minister's visit, Johnson's security service discovered listening devices in the toilet.
During their meeting, Netanyahu excused himself and went to the toilet, Johnson said.
In his book, Unchained, the British prime minister writes: "It may or may not be a coincidence."
After Netanyahu's visit, a listening device was found in the toilet.
He also added that the device was discovered in the lightning rod during a routine inspection.
Around the same time, the White House accused Israel of installing eavesdropping devices.
Israel was likely behind the placement of cellphone tracking devices near the White House and other sensitive sites, U.S. officials say.
