President Joe Biden on Friday gave a sharp response to a British reporter's question about Vladimir Putin.
The question was asked in violation of White House protocol at a meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
"I'm telling you, keep quiet until I speak, OK?" Biden responded to a Sky News reporter, as reported by Mail Online .
President Biden and Prime Minister Starmer then made opening statements in the White House Blue Room following their meeting.
After this, reporters were allowed to ask their questions, according to the usual protocol.
A Western reporter asked Biden again about the Russian president.
Biden responded by saying, "I don't think very highly of Vladimir Putin."
Sources say Biden and Starmer will meet again ahead of the annual gathering of world leaders at the UN General Assembly this month.
Both politicians are expected to attend the meeting in New York.
