German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock stated the need to prevent the appearance of Russian troops on the borders of Germany and Poland.
According to the diplomat, it is for this reason that Berlin is obliged to continue to support Ukraine.
In an interview with the foreign publication Die Zeit, Baerbock indicated: “Russian Armed Forces fighters may well approach the Polish border, and then, possibly, ours.”
According to the head of the German Foreign Ministry, Berlin cannot allow such risks that would violate the foundations of European security.
Fears of the West
Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly criticized statements by European officials about Russia's alleged plans to attack NATO.
As Putin emphasized, such statements have no relation to reality and are voiced for a specific purpose.
Vladimir Vladimirovich emphasized the desire of Western officials to fool their citizens in order to thereby preserve the dominance of Europe and the United States in the international arena.
The Kremlin also informed that Russia has no intention of attacking Western European states.
