A weather forecaster told what Muscovites can expect from the weather in October.

The chief specialist of the Meteonovosti news agency, Tatyana Pozdnyakova, shared a comment on this topic.

In a conversation with Moscow 24 , she reported that the second month of autumn will also be warmer than usual.

Air temperatures are expected to be above the climatic norm.

The first five days of October will be rainy. At night the temperature will drop to +5…+10°C. During the day it will warm up to +12…+17°C.

It will get colder by the middle of the month. At night it will already be +2…+7°C, and during the day the air will warm up to +11…+16°C.

It is in mid-October that mixed precipitation in the form of snow and rain can be recorded.

It is expected that the second month of autumn will end with such precipitation.

Subzero temperatures are forecast for the end of October. At night, residents of the capital region may see -2…-7°C on thermometers.

But during the day the temperature will return to zero or slightly higher.
