Forecaster Evgeny Tishkovets spoke about the weather in Moscow for the upcoming weekend.
The expert shared his comment on his Telegram channel.
Tishkovets warned that up to 30% of the monthly precipitation will fall in the capital on December 7 and 8.
Snow will start falling on Saturday night, and during the day its intensity will only increase.
Approximately 7 mm of precipitation will fall in 24 hours, and the thickness of the snow cover will be estimated at approximately 3–6 cm.
Minor snowstorms and short-term deterioration of visibility to 1–4 km are also expected.
At night the temperature will drop to -3…-6°C, and during the day the figure will be -1…-4°C.
On December 8, a similar picture will emerge, but the level of precipitation will reach 12 mm, and the thickness of the snow cover will be 6–9 cm.
Temperatures will also be below zero, but in some areas they may rise to zero.
Tishkovets emphasized that such weather is completely consistent with the first ten days of December.
The forecaster added that the first month of winter is expected to be warm overall, but the snow that has fallen will not melt until the New Year.
