Police officers have detained two people for stealing money from a Moscow pensioner. The details are reported by the Moscow Agency with reference to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for Moscow.
It is noted that the elderly woman went to the repairman to set up television channels. On the specified day, two men arrived to see the pensioner.
According to the press service, after the work was done, the men transferred money from the woman's bank account to their own account, considering it payment for services. However, the amount turned out to be large - 80 thousand rubles.
They also noted that after some time the pensioner realized that she had been deceived. After that, she contacted the police.
It is added that the young suspects were detained. A criminal case has now been opened under the article on fraud.
