Experts from Rospotrebnadzor have found out that it was not water that caused the poisoning of the capital's schoolchildren.
The employees of school No. 1512 also turned out to be healthy and could not spread the infection.
About 30 people from a Moscow school went to the clinic with signs of intestinal infection, RIA Novosti reports.
The causative agent of the disease was norovirus type 2. Its macromolecule was identified during the study of clinical material.
But norovirus was not found in the water. Previously, it was reported that children were infected by drinking water from a cooler.
Rospotrebnadzor stated that there are no viruses in bottled water.
PCR tests of school employees showed negative results, the department reported.
