The plane that crashed in the Moscow region was operated by Gazprom.
The Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ 100) aircraft crashed near Kolomna on Friday, July 12.
As a result of the plane crash, three people died – everyone on board, TASS reports.
The victims of the incident were the pilots. They took off on an SSJ 100 from the Zhukovsky airfield near Moscow. The departure point was the base of the Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company.
The flight was part of a test flight after repair work. It is reported that the jet was manufactured in 2014 and until now was operated by Gazprom.
Emergency services are working at the scene. The head of the Kolomna administration, Alexander Grechishchev, has arrived.
The investigation of the incident is within the competence of the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) with the participation of Rosaviatsia employees.
The Investigative Committee for the Moscow Region has opened a criminal case regarding the crash of the SSJ 100 in the Moscow Region.
