The Moscow Region Ministry of Health responded to rumors of a fatal outcome from the Coxsackie virus.

The department's press service called for not rushing to conclusions and not spreading misinformation.

Earlier, information appeared on social networks and some Telegram news channels that a pregnant woman allegedly died from the Coxsackie virus in Podolsk.

The Ministry of Health stated that it is premature to draw such conclusions, TASS reports.

The cause of death will be determined after additional research, department representatives emphasized.
