A storm warning has been issued for Moscow and the Moscow region.
In the coming hours, the capital and the region will be hit by bad weather.
According to the forecast of the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand, the temperature will begin to fall rapidly. This is reported by RBC .
The first winter snowstorm is expected in Moscow in the next 24 hours.
At the moment, the temperature in the capital fluctuates between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius. However, by the evening the thermometer will rapidly fall by 10 degrees.
Meteorologist Roman Vilfand reported that Muscovites will face winds increasing to 25 m/s and wet snow.
The bad weather will intensify in the afternoon, and the first snowstorm will be observed by the evening.
Precipitation will begin in the afternoon, and by 10–11 pm the first snowstorm will be visible.
Drivers and pedestrians on sidewalks will need to be especially careful due to icy conditions.
Moscow will be hit by rain on Saturday. Heavy precipitation with wet snow sticking to wires is forecast.
