It has become known what happened to a public catering establishment where shawarma was prepared in violation of sanitary standards.

The establishment was closed again due to newly identified cases of poisoning.

The incident was reported by the press service on the official website of Rospotrebnadzor .

It is noted that this is about a shawarma outlet located at Garibaldi, 23/54. This establishment had previously been closed after similar violations were discovered.

According to Rospotrebnadzor, two cases of acute intestinal infection were recorded in 2024, which is why an inspection of the establishment where people were poisoned was initiated.

Experts identified sanitary violations related to the fact that the employer did not provide conditions for personnel to maintain personal hygiene.

The violations identified became the basis for drawing up a report against the owner of the food service outlet, as well as closing the establishment for a period of 90 days, starting from July 23, 2024.
