Rospotrebnadzor Launches Investigation Following Mass Food Poisoning in Moscow

A new case of mass poisoning by shawarma has been reported.

This time, about 30 Muscovites suffered from poor quality fast food.

The department shared details of the incident on its official website .

According to the information posted, this is a series of food poisonings that occurred between 07/15/2024 and 07/26/2024.

All 29 cases were recorded in the establishment, against whose owner an investigation was initiated.

Rospotrebnadzor specialists were looking for evidence of whether the services provided were in compliance with safety standards.

As a result of the investigation, a causal relationship was established between 29 identified cases of poisoning and the activities of the public catering outlet.

Rospotrebnadzor called on all Moscow residents who also encountered low-quality products in this establishment to contact the agency for compensation for damage to health and compensation for moral damage caused.
