A young man vandalized the grave of TV presenter Alexander Maslyakov.
The police have become interested in the incident at the Novodevichy Cemetery in Moscow.
The vandal's identity has been established, he is detained and is being interrogated, TASS reported, citing law enforcement agencies.
Vandalism at Maslyakov's grave
The young man who committed an act of vandalism on the grave of TV presenter Alexander Maslyakov has been detained.
The police said that the detainee tore out the cross on Maslyakov's grave, scattered flowers and moved photographs.
Investigators are yet to determine the motive for this act.
According to sources, the young man was taken to the police station in an inadequate condition.
Currently, a Moscow resident born in 2004 remains in the local police department for investigation.
The TV presenter's family filed a police report after the incident at the cemetery.
