Police officers detained a woman for fraud against a Moscow resident. The details are reported by the Moscow Agency with reference to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for Moscow.
It is noted that a man went to the police station. According to him, his sister was asked for a phone supposedly to make one call. However, after the woman received the gadget, she disappeared.
According to the press service, police officers have located the suspect. She turned out to be a 26-year-old woman.
They also noted that the detainee's phone was confiscated. It will soon be returned to its rightful owner.
It is added that a criminal case has now been opened under the article on fraud. The woman faces punishment.
