An incident involving a Russian plane on an international flight has been reported.
Sheremetyevo Airport received an aircraft that had to make an emergency landing.
On Friday, November 1, a Rossiya airline plane departed from St. Petersburg to Alma-Ata (Kazakhstan), TASS reports.
Flight 6531 initially proceeded normally. But at a certain point along the route, suspicions arose that a fuel leak was occurring.
The crew decided to make an emergency landing in Moscow due to a technical reason.
The Rossiya company prepared a spare plane. It soon took off from Moscow and headed to Kazakhstan.
The plane, which landed due to a technical problem, was left at Sheremetyevo.
It is being inspected by technical service employees, the air carrier's press service reported.
