Muscovites have been warned about an unusually warm winter that will last until March 2025.
According to leading specialist of Meteonovosti Tatyana Pozdnyakova, the capital region will face a positive temperature anomaly.
She noted that in December and January the air temperature will exceed the norm by 1-3 degrees. Details are given in the RT material.
Preliminary forecasts for the coming months predict a warm winter with heavy precipitation.
In January, precipitation may exceed normal levels by about 20 percent.
According to Pozdnyakova, long-term forecast models indicate that the abnormally warm weather will last until March next year.
Overall, as the specialist noted, the winter will be warm, and there will be more precipitation than usual.
Muscovites are warned that they can't expect frost in the near future.
