Fraudsters are constantly coming up with new schemes to deceive citizens.
In Moscow, fraudsters have increasingly begun to use fraudulent medical schemes.
The capital's health department issued this warning on its Telegram channel.
According to the agency, fraudsters call potential victims and offer them the installation or update of the Unified Medical Information and Analytical System.
At the same time, fraudsters advise citizens to download the installation file of the application, and also use other methods of deception. For example, there are often cases when fraudsters send a targeted file or ask to indicate the code received in an SMS.
The Department of Health reminded that such operations are not within the competence of medical workers. Therefore, health care workers do not call patients and, moreover, do not require any personal data from users.
The department urged people to seek help with updating or installing EMIAS.INFO from the administrators of clinics in the capital.
