A Muscovite has filed a lawsuit against the Oleg Tabakov Theatre, demanding compensation for a damaged leather sofa.
The woman claims that the sofa was damaged as a result of flooding in her apartment.
According to court documents, the floods, confirmed by damage reports, occurred in 2021, 2022 and 2023. Details are provided in the RIA Novosti article.

Flooding occurred several times and was officially recorded. However, the reasons for these incidents remain unclear. At the same time, the woman is sure that her furniture was damaged by water.
Representatives of the Oleg Tabakov Theatre do not agree with the amount of damage claimed by the woman. Therefore, the court decided to order an expert examination.
Experts will have to assess how seriously the sofa was damaged and the cost of repairs. The theater agreed to pay for the examination in the amount of 48 thousand rubles.
At the moment, the trial is suspended pending the results of the examination. Based on their results, a decision will be made on the amount of compensation for the damaged sofa.
The legal proceedings between the Muscovite and the Oleg Tabakov Theatre are ongoing. The court's decision will help to finally decide who will pay for the damaged furniture and in what amount.
