This was reported by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Irina Volk.

Another incident occurred in Moscow. A businessman from the capital stole over 100 million rubles from the state budget using "Pushkin cards".

The fraudster carried out entrepreneurial activities in the field of organizing cultural events.

His scheme also involved other people who helped to organize performances at various venues. You could only visit them if you paid with a Pushkin Card.

Fraudsters found young people on the Internet who bought tickets using funds on their cards, but did not attend the events.

It turned out that the money that the state allocated for cultural development and education of youth was being appropriated, Volk emphasized.

A criminal case was opened against the businessman. He was placed under arrest.
