A strange incident occurred in one of Moscow's cinemas.
On Friday, August 2, during another screening at the Oktyabr Theatre on Novy Arbat, an evacuation was announced.
The information about this was reported by the cinema administrator, RIA Novosti reports. However, she could not name the reason for the evacuation.
The audience left the hall. Police officers arrived at the scene of the emergency. The alarm was soon cancelled.
At the same time, the media does not report any fire or other emergency. Some sources report that people have already begun to be allowed back into the cinema.
Visitors to Oktyabr were frightened by the evacuation siren that sounded during the show. According to the administrator, the film show has not yet been restored.
The Oktyabr Cinema is located at 27 Novy Arbat Street. The building was constructed in 1967. Its halls can accommodate over 3,000 people.
