Moscow to Celebrate City Day Without Fireworks

The head of the Moscow Department of Trade and Services, Alexey Nemeryuk, announced that the capital will celebrate City Day without fireworks.

The relevant event is scheduled to take place from September 7 to 8.

Nemeryuk, in particular, emphasized: “There will be no fireworks at the celebration,” as reported by RIA Novosti .

The official made this information public during a press briefing dedicated to Moscow City Day.

Earlier, the Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin also spoke on the issue of celebrating Moscow City Day.

As Sobyanin emphasized, this year, 2024, the celebration is scheduled for the period from September 7 to 8.

Krasnodar Mayor Yevgeny Naumov, in turn, pointed out the fact that Russia is currently in the conditions of a special military operation.

Accordingly, according to Naumov, “the life, health and safety of Russians” are a priority and come first for government bodies.
