Residents of Moscow are being scared by sandstorms that could reach the capital from the south of the country.
The situation was commented on by the leading specialist of the Phobos weather center, Evgeny Tishkovets.
In a conversation with RIA Novosti, the weather forecaster said that information about the dust of sandstorms raging in the south of the Russian Federation in Moscow is exaggerated.
He assured that the capital's residents need not worry about dust. It will not reach the city.
Before this, the opinion was also expressed that it was not the dust itself that would reach the capital, but the aerosol.
It cannot be seen, but its presence in the air can negatively affect human health.
Dust storms raged in a number of regions of the Southern Federal District.
Thus, this natural phenomenon was noticed in Kalmykia, Rostov, Volgograd and Astrakhan regions.
