Doctors provided assistance to a man whose eye was damaged by a piece of wire. The details are reported by the Moscow Agency, citing the press service of the Moscow Region Ministry of Health and the head of the ophthalmology department, Zarema Dreeva.
It is noted that a man was admitted to one of the hospitals complaining of severe pain in the eye, tearing and loss of vision due to the injury he received.
According to the press service, the man injured his eye while installing windows. A small piece of wire got into it.
Dreeva noted that doctors had to perform surgery. They removed the wire and put stitches on the cornea. In addition, the man received conservative treatment.
It is added that the man's condition has improved and he has been discharged home.
