Doctors performed surgery on a woman who lost a lot of blood due to a breast implant injury. The Moscow Agency reports details, citing the press service of the regional Ministry of Health and the head of the surgical department of the Mytishchi hospital, Igor Modin.
It is noted that a patient was admitted to the Mytishchi hospital with a complaint of a sharp increase in the size of her mammary gland and painful sensations.
According to the press service, doctors conducted diagnostics, as a result of which they discovered bleeding into the implant capsule from a vessel.
They also noted that the woman lost 0.5 liters of blood, so doctors had to act quickly. Inaction could have led to tissue necrosis, but everything went well.
According to Modin, doctors performed the operation. It lasted about 40 minutes. The implant was saved.
The department concluded that the patient's condition is currently good. Her recovery was without complications.
