Every day, the capital's doctors are engaged in treatment and saving the lives of patients.
Thanks to their professional work, many people recover and return to a full life.
Doctors provided assistance to a young man who was bitten by a poisonous snake living at home. The details were reported by the Moscow Agency with reference to the press service of the Moscow Department of Health and the head of the toxicology department of the Filatov Children's Hospital Dmitry Dolginov.
It is noted that a teenager was admitted to the Filatov Children's Hospital, who complained of nausea, dizziness and weakness after a snake bite.
The report said that immediately after the bite, the young man tried to help himself, but all actions did not bring a positive result. He was taken to the hospital.
According to Dolginov, the lack of treatment could have led to serious consequences, including acute renal failure.
He noted that the patient received treatment that helped combat the toxins.
In case of a snake bite, the doctor urged to call an ambulance. While specialists are getting there, it is important for the patient to fix the bite site, remove constricting accessories and clothing, and try to move less.
It is added that a person nearby can also help. He can bring the patient a lot of water and painkillers, treat the area with an antiseptic solution, and apply a bandage.
