The Zyuzinsky Court of Moscow considered a claim filed by the mother of one of the students, who considered the confiscation of her daughter's phone during the educational process to be illegal.

The court dismissed the claim because it found that the schools had the right to do so.

RIA Novosti journalists learned about this in a Moscow court.

It is noted that this is a rule established in schools regarding mobile phones. During the school year, children are required to hand over their devices.

The mother of one of the girls said that she had reached an agreement with the school principal. She believed that her daughter should decide for herself whether to keep the phone or hand it in.

The girl was forced to hand over her phone, which prompted her mother to file a lawsuit asking that the school rule be declared invalid.

However, the court rejected the claim and found the school administration's demand to be legal.

According to the court, school requirements are developed taking into account the Federal Law on Education, therefore, children must comply with them.
