It has become known about the measures taken in the capital against illegal migrants.
The headquarters of the Russian National Guard reported that a raid was being conducted to find illegal immigrants who violate the conditions of their stay in the country.
The department wrote about this on its Telegram channel.
As specified in the publication, the Russian National Guard acted as part of an operation called "Illegal-2024". The purpose of this event was to detect migrants who need to be brought to administrative responsibility.
The first stage of the operation was carried out in June of this year. At that time, law enforcement officers were able to identify about 50 thousand cases related to violations of Russian legislation.
Following the inspections, approximately 9 thousand migrants were deported from Russian territory.
It is noted that the raids were conducted at events related to transport infrastructure. As a result of the inspection, it was possible to identify and stop about 400 cases of violation of Russian migration legislation.
As part of the violations discovered, approximately 350 migrants were held accountable.
