Over 80 thousand tons of milk were produced at Moscow Region enterprises in the first 5 months of this year. Details are reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the Moscow Region Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
It is noted that compared to the same period last year, this year the production of the product has increased by more than 50%. This includes the production of milk for baby food, processed milk.
According to the press service, the Moscow Region is in second place in milk production in the Central Federal District (CFD). In the Russian Federation, it ranks seventh.
It is added that the largest amount of milk is produced by the Joint Stock Company (JSC) "Helios", CJSC "Mozhaysky Sterilized Milk Plant", JSC "Ozeretsky Dairy Plant".
