A troublemaker who disturbed public order at the Savelovsky market threatened a police officer with a weapon.
The Investigative Committee of Russia for Moscow reported this on its official Telegram channel.
It is noted that the troublemaker was detained. The investigation intends to petition for the man to be taken into custody.
A criminal case has been opened under articles on hooliganism and threats of violence against a government official.
Circumstances of the incident
The incident at the Savelovsky market in Moscow occurred the day before.
On July 11, for some unknown reason, the man began to insult and express his disrespect to people present at the market.
A law enforcement officer approached the troublemaker and tried to calm him down and stop his hooligan actions. However, this caused a backlash and resistance from the suspect.
The man pulled out an object that looked like a firearm and pointed it at the police officer. He threatened to use it against the law enforcement officer.
