A considerable number of crimes related to theft are committed in the Moscow region.

Police detained a young man for a series of thefts in Podolsk. The details are reported by the Moscow Agency with reference to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Moscow Region.
It is noted that the man visited two supermarkets over the course of a month. There he stole goods and then left unnoticed.
According to the press service, the stolen goods included deodorants, sunflower oil and coffee.
They also noted that after some time, supermarket employees noticed the absence of goods, after which they contacted the police.
The press service added that the suspect was soon detained. He fully admitted his guilt.
It is also added that a criminal case has now been opened under the article on theft. The man has signed a written undertaking not to leave.
