The husband of Wildberries founder Tatyana Bakalchuk, Vladislav, was detained after a shootout near the company's office.
Lawyers said Bakalchuk was charged under four articles.
From a message on Bakalchuk's Telegram channel, it follows that he is suspected under the following articles of the Russian Criminal Code:
- Article 105, Part 2 – Murder;
- Part 3 of Article 30, Part 1 of Article 105 - attempted murder;
- Article 317 - attempted murder of a law enforcement officer;
- Article 330 - arbitrariness.
His lawyers said he was detained for 48 hours.
According to the defense, Bakalchuk faced an unprecedented violation of his rights.
They claim that the man who was the subject of an assassination attempt in the center of Moscow in front of eyewitnesses suddenly became a defendant in a number of criminal cases.
The lawyers are surprised by the decision of the investigative bodies to arrest Bakalchuk without understanding what happened.
