Experts from the Russian Hydrometeorological Center have told when hot weather will return to the capital.
Forecasters reported that warm weather will return to Moscow at the beginning of the second half of August.
The city will get significantly warmer on Saturday, August 17, the Hydrometeorological Center website reports. On this day, the air will warm up to +27°C.
It will be cool in Moscow until the weekend. Monday even made it onto the list of the coldest days of this summer. Daytime temperatures were only +16…+18°C.
This trend will continue on Tuesday, August 13. During the day, the air will warm up to +18…+20°C. A similar picture is expected on Wednesday-Friday.
In addition, rain and thunderstorms are forecast in some places.
It will be quite cool at night. In Moscow and the region, the average temperature at this time of day will be +13°C.
It will be hot on the weekend. With the arrival of warm weather, there will be less precipitation. Only in some areas light rain is possible.
