Law enforcement officers raided the capital's hostels.
The details were reported on Monday, September 16, by the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Moscow on its Telegram channel.
The attention of law enforcement officers was drawn to a building on Shelepikhinskaya Embankment. Here, the basement of an apartment building was converted into a hostel.
In addition, security forces raided a hostel on Zoologicheskaya Street. They found 108 foreigners there.
The migrants were taken to the department to be checked for violations of migration laws. It is known that two of them were registered for military service and given summonses.
The main reason for the searches was an investigation under the criminal article – “Provision of services that do not meet the requirements of safety of life or health of consumers” (Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The hotel administration was taken to the Moscow Investigative Committee department for investigative actions.
Investigators carried out the operation with the assistance of Russian National Guard officers.
