Moscow Region diabetes schools have taught healthy nutrition and measuring blood sugar levels. TASS reports details, citing the press service of the Moscow Region Health Ministry and Minister Alexei Sapanyuk.
It is noted that since the beginning of this year, more than 25 thousand people have completed such training.
According to Sapanyuk, there are currently over 150 diabetes schools operating in the Moscow region.
He noted that this school is important for diabetics who need help with learning and support.
According to the press service, important knowledge in schools is transmitted by doctors. They teach how to eat properly, give injections, count calories, and analyze measurement results.
They also added that those who wish can visit this school absolutely free of charge.
