Doctors performed surgery on a girl who injured her heel bones when jumping into the water. The Moscow Agency reports details, citing the press service of the Moscow Region Health Ministry and the head of the combined trauma department, Vasily Kozlov.
A young girl with pain in her legs and the inability to move independently was taken to the Volokolamsk hospital.
According to the press service, specialists found fractures with displacement of bone fragments in the girl.
They also noted that before arriving at the hospital, the girl was injured due to an unsuccessful jump into the water.
According to Kozlov, the patient underwent surgery using an effective bone autotransplantation technique.
It is added that the girl's health is currently satisfactory. She is awaiting a period of recovery.
