A domestic gas explosion occurred in a residential building in the north of the capital.
Details were reported by law enforcement and emergency services in Moscow.
The incident occurred on the top floor of a 5-story building at 23 Karelsky Boulevard, Building 2, TASS reports.
After the explosion, a fire broke out over an area of 20 square meters, which was extinguished.
The explosion resulted in the collapse of partitions over an area of 100 square meters.
There are casualties. Initially, it was reported that two people were injured. We were talking about a man and a child.
Later, information appeared that seven people were injured, including four minors. There is no information about the victims of the emergency.
Doctors, rescuers, law enforcement and investigative officers quickly arrived at the scene.
The Timiryazevsky Interdistrict Investigative Department of the Investigative Directorate for the Northern Administrative District of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Moscow organized a pre-investigation check.
While specialists are examining the scene of the emergency, several examinations will also be ordered to help establish the exact cause of the incident.
