Former CIA analyst visited Moscow and St. Petersburg.

During his visits, the expert was surprised by the quality and standard of living in the Russian Federation.

Larry Johnson expressed this opinion in an interview with the YouTube channel Dialogue Works.

A former US Central Intelligence Agency employee said he has visited Russia's two largest cities several times over the past year.

During his visits, Johnson was very surprised by what was happening in the country. In particular, he noted that there was no shortage of goods in the Russian Federation, despite the sanctions pressure exerted by the West.

He was also struck by how crowded and safe the streets were, with people enjoying simple pleasures, welcoming new families and the birth of children.

He noted that even news programs do not contain a large number of reports about violent crimes.

The Kremlin has also repeatedly spoken out about sanctions restrictions from the West, which lacks the courage to admit their failure.
