Several people have been detained in Moscow for illegally registering migrants. Details are reported by TASS , citing the press service of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee for the capital.
The investigation established that illegal migration had been organized in Moscow for three years. The violators took money from people in exchange for fake registration at the place of residence.
According to the press service, five suspects were detained. Among them was a local police officer.
They also noted that searches have been conducted. The detained persons will be charged soon.
It is added that work is currently underway to identify other persons involved.
