Doctors performed an operation to remove a benign tumor on the woman. The Moscow Agency reports details, citing the press service of the regional Ministry of Health and Alexander Belko, an oncologist at the Breast and Skin Tumors Department No. 6.
It is noted that a woman was admitted to the Moscow Regional Oncology Dispensary complaining of breast enlargement, shortness of breath and pain.
According to the press service, after the diagnostics it became clear that the woman had a phyllodes tumor.
Belko noted that surgeons performed an operation to remove a tumor weighing about 1.5 kg. It turned out to be benign.
According to him, the patient was discharged. Her condition is satisfactory. The woman will undergo observation by an oncologist.
