The weather in the Russian capital is influenced by low atmospheric pressure.
This phenomenon resulted in a storm wind that hit Moscow.
The chief specialist of the capital's meteorological bureau, Tatyana Pozdnyakova, wrote about the value that has updated its historical minimum in her Telegram channel.
The meteorological day of November 22 in Moscow began with a record, Pozdnyakova emphasized.
As meteorologists recorded, atmospheric pressure decreased over the course of 12 hours, resulting in a drop of 10 divisions of mercury.
Its value was recorded at 722 millimeters, which is an absolute record of meteorological research. Before this, the pressure on November 22 dropped only to 725 millimeters.
It is noted that the drop in atmospheric pressure did not pass without a trace and caused a storm wind. The raging elements have already caused several trees to fall, which led to damage to vehicles and injuries to people.
