A powerful thunderstorm front caused an incident on the MCD-3 at the Elektrozavodskaya station on the Kazan direction.
Details were reported on the Moscow Railway (MR) Telegram channel. The incident occurred on Friday evening, July 5.
According to the Moscow Railways, the movement of MCD-3 trains in the direction of Ramenskoye and long-distance commuter trains in the Kazan direction has been suspended.
A strong gust of wind tore off elements of the canopy. They damaged the contact wire. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties.
Repairmen arrived at the scene of the emergency. The Moscow Railway emphasized that specialists are doing everything to restore traffic as soon as possible.
