Mikhail Abyzov was brought to the Moscow City Court, where the appeal hearing was to take place.
But the hearing was postponed until August 20. As a result, the convicted ex-official was taken back to Lefortovo. On the way, the paddy wagon got into an accident, TASS reports.
Abyzov suffered a back injury as a result of the accident. No details are provided. It is only noted that the incident occurred outside the court's territory.
