A man who was drowning in the Moscow River has been rescued in the Russian capital. The Moscow Agency reports the details, citing the press service of the Moscow Department of Civil Defense, Emergencies and Fire Safety.
The unpleasant incident occurred during the daytime. The scene of the incident was the area of the Krymskaya embankment.
It is noted that rescuers learned about the incident from the captain of the ship, who noticed a man on the river.
According to the press service, rescuers soon arrived at the scene. They saw the man and then pulled him out of the water.
They also specified that the man was clothed. He was given assistance and then taken to a medical facility.
It is added that the cause of the incident remains unknown. Law enforcement officers will establish it.
