A man has been arrested in the Moscow Region for attempted murder of his mother and stepfather. Details are reported by TASS , citing the press service of the Russian Investigative Committee.
It is noted that over the course of 6 months, the man slipped harmful substances into his parents’ drinks in order to poison them.
According to the press service, as a result of this, the health of the mother and stepfather worsened. They went to a medical facility, but they were unable to determine the cause of the deterioration.
They also added that after an unsuccessful attempt, the parents decided to seek help from investigative bodies. Thanks to the examination, it was possible to identify products with a harmful substance.
In addition, thanks to the cameras, law enforcement officers were able to identify the criminal. It turned out to be the victim's son.
It is added that the man confessed to what happened. He is in custody.
