A man has been arrested in Moscow and is accused of committing a murder many years ago.
The accused, together with his accomplices, brutally murdered a passerby in 1999.
TASS reports this with reference to the ruling of the capital’s Zyuzinsky Court.
Denis Vladimirovich Gagin is accused of murder committed by a group of people. He is remanded in custody for two months and will remain in pretrial detention until February 4, 2025.
According to investigators, Gagin and his accomplices were on Chongarsky Boulevard in the southwest of Moscow.
It is noted that all the persons involved in the case were in a state of alcoholic intoxication, and they were under the age of majority.
The defendants in the case noticed a stranger walking down the street and decided to kill him in order to rob him, which is what they eventually did.
It is emphasized that the murder was connected with robbery. The fate of the other men involved in the murder is not reported.
